Description

Nilan VGU250 M2 is a domestic hot water heat pump with active heat recovery for single and multi-family houses. According to Nilan, the unit extracts the warm, humid air from the kitchen, bathroom and utility room and uses the energy of the extract air to produce hot water.

According to Nilan, the unit has a 180 litre hot water tank and an additional heating coil, via which it can be combined with a solar collector, oil, gas, district heating or other fuels. It is supplied ready to plug in with control.

Features

Connections according to Nilan: exhaust air, extract air, extract valve; the ventilation part is connected to the duct system via spigots on the top, the hot water is connected below the tank.
Accessories according to the VGU 250 data sheet: sound-absorbing flexible hose, safety group for the hot water tank (also with scald protection).

Installation notes

According to Nilan, at least 60 cm of space should be left in front of the unit for service and maintenance; filter and fan must be accessible. Nilan recommends flexible connections to the duct system. The unit must be level so that condensate can drain from the condensate tray.
