What to look out for

The controller must match the hydraulics of your system: a simple system with one collector and one tank needs fewer inputs and outputs than a system with several tanks, heating support or heat metering. Also check which sensor types your controller expects and choose the same system when replacing parts. Data loggers and heat meters also show how much heat the system actually delivers, so faults are noticed earlier. For solar stations, distinguish between single-line and double-line versions. For surface heating, underfloor heating panels and insulation from Nordic Fos are available.

Yes, provided the type and sensing element match the existing controller. The designation is usually printed on the sensor cable or given in the controller documentation. Matching immersion sleeves and thermal paste are also available here.
