Sanha piping systems for drinking water, heating, refrigeration and industry: press fittings in stainless steel (NiroSan, NiroTherm), copper (SANHA-Press, ACR Copper Press) and carbon steel (SANHA-Therm), PURAFIT threaded fittings in silicon bronze as well as capillary solder fittings and system pipes.

Stainless steel: NiroSan and NiroTherm

According to Sanha, NiroSan press fittings (series 9000) are made of Cr-Ni-Mo steel 1.4404 and are intended for drinking water, heating, rainwater, compressed air and technical gases, among others; the system has a DVGW type examination certificate. The matching Sanha NiroSan system pipe is available as NiroSan, ECO, F and SF in bars of 3 m or 6 m. For industrial applications such as compressed air, solar systems, district heating or fuel oil there is NiroSan Industry (series 18000) with a red FKM sealing ring, for example the NiroSan Industry tee or the flat sealing union. According to Sanha, NiroTherm is intended for closed heating and cooling circuits, technical gases and compressed air and is not approved for drinking water; the NiroTherm system pipe is available in 1.4301 or nickel-free as NiroTherm F in 1.4520.

Copper: SANHA-Press, Chrome and ACR Copper Press

According to Sanha, SANHA-Press fittings (series 6000) in Cu-DHP copper are intended for drinking water, heating and cooling, compressed air and technical gases. SANHA-Press Chrome is intended for visible installations with chrome-plated copper pipes. For refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems there is ACR Copper Press (series 32000) with HNBR sealing rings, for example the ACR Copper Press coupling. For soldering there are capillary solder fittings of series 5000 such as the Sanha CU coupling.

Carbon steel: SANHA-Therm for closed circuits

According to Sanha, SANHA-Therm (series 24000) is made of unalloyed steel 1.0034, galvanised on the outside, and is intended only for closed circuits, not for drinking water. This includes the SANHA-Therm system pipe in bars of 3 m or 6 m from 12 to 168.3 mm. A selection for heating is listed under heating pipes and press fittings.

Threaded fittings: PURAFIT

According to Sanha, PURAFIT (series 3000) is made of lead-free silicon bronze and is intended for drinking water, heating and cooling, gas installations, compressed air and solar systems, for example the PURAFIT water meter union. Frequently asked questions about Sanha

What is the difference between NiroSan and NiroTherm?

Both are stainless steel press fitting systems. According to Sanha, NiroSan is also intended for drinking water, NiroTherm only for closed heating and cooling circuits and other applications without drinking water.

Can I use SANHA-Therm for drinking water?

No. According to Sanha, SANHA-Therm in carbon steel is intended only for closed circuits. NiroSan, SANHA-Press or PURAFIT, for example, are suitable for drinking water.
