Sanha intends SANHA-Therm for closed circuits only. The installation information lists heating and cooling, dry compressed air with a residual oil content of up to 25 mg/m³ and shipbuilding as applications. According to Sanha, the system is not suitable for drinking water; the fittings carry a red dot. The black EPDM sealing ring is fitted at the factory, the maximum continuous temperature is -30 to 120 °C, briefly up to 150 °C, and the nominal pressure is PN 16.
SANHA-Therm Industry (series 28000) has a red FKM sealing ring and, according to Sanha, is intended only for closed, oxygen-free circuits. The continuous temperature is -20 to 160 °C, briefly up to 280 °C.
The SANHA-Therm system pipe made of steel 1.0034 according to EN 10305 is longitudinally welded and pressure tested, galvanised on the outside and has a thin oil film on the inside. It is available in lengths of 3 m or 6 m; the size states outside diameter and wall thickness. The fittings have a universal press connection; up to 54 mm, Sanha specifies press jaws with the original SA, V or M contour. Joints that were not pressed are detected during the leak test.
For SANHA-Therm, Sanha lists the TÜV component mark TÜV.K.23-001 for the joint of press fitting and system pipe and VdS approval G 411011 for fixed water extinguishing systems with the restrictions stated there.
