For heating and plumbing pipes

Sanha supplies pump connection unions in various versions: with female or male thread, with solder socket, in gunmetal or brass and optionally with or without seals. They allow circulation pumps to be connected detachably and replaced later without cutting into the pipe. Also available are PURAFIT caps and an installation kit with lock nut and seals for wall penetrations, for example on concealed cisterns. For ventilation and flue pipes

InoxAir supplies silicone seals for the push-fit joints of its single and double wall stainless steel pipes, including a pressure-tight version. For ventilation ducts there is also a butyl-based sealant in cartridges. For joints and seams on ducts, sealing tapes from the adhesive and sealing tape category are also suitable.

Choosing the right seal

Check thread type and nominal size, the pipe system and the temperature range. As a rule, a seal should be replaced whenever a joint has been opened. For unions supplied without seals, check whether you need the matching seals separately.

Frequently asked questions about seals

Can I reuse old flat gaskets?

We advise against it. A compressed gasket loses its elasticity, while a new one costs little and prevents drips.

What do IG and AG mean?

IG stands for female thread, AG for male thread. The information shows which counterpart the union requires. Thread size and thread standard must also match.

When do I need the butyl sealant?

For sealing ventilation ducts, for example at seams and transitions where no fitting seal is present.
