A ventilation duct or flue pipe is only as good as its fixing. In this category you will find material for securely mounting pipes, units and filters. The products come from InoxAir, AFPRO Filters, SENOR, Blauberg and Nilan.

For pipes and ducts

Most items come from InoxAir: wall brackets and wall spacers, including adjustable ones, support brackets and intermediate supports for single and double wall stainless steel pipes, pipe clamps, band clamps sold by the metre with closures, threaded rods to DIN 976, hanger bolts, hexagon nuts and self-drilling screws. For routing over the roof there are rafter fixings, roof mounting flanges and guy wire clamps. Matching ducts and fittings are listed under ventilation ducts and fittings.

For filters, units and ceilings

AFPRO Filters supplies holding frames that keep bag, compact or HEPA filters sealed in the air path. Choose the frame according to filter type and size, for example for filters from the bag and compact filters category. A filter that does not sit tightly in its frame lets unfiltered air bypass it. Blauberg and Nilan provide mounting brackets and wall brackets for their units. SENOR adds hangers, mounting plates and connectors for suspended and plasterboard ceilings, see sound insulation and drywall.

Galvanised steel or stainless steel?

Galvanised parts are sufficient for dry indoor rooms. Outdoors, in humid conditions or on stainless steel pipes, stainless steel is the obvious choice.

Filter type and frame size are decisive. Compare the details in the product description with the dimensions of your filter.

What should I consider regarding bracket spacing?

Follow the specifications of the pipe or unit manufacturer and fix fittings and units so that no loads act on the joints.
