Fans

92 items

This overview lists all fans in our range: from quiet bathroom fans to inline duct fans and acoustically insulated ventilation boxes through to roof, axial and smoke extract fans for commercial and industrial use. The units come from Blauberg, S&P, Fischbach and InoxAir. If you already know the type you need, the sub-categories take you there faster.

Sub-categories at a glance

  • Inline duct fans: installed directly in round ducts, for example Centro-M, Iso-Mix or TD Silent.
  • Bathroom and small room fans: for bathrooms, WCs and storage rooms, depending on the model with overrun timer, humidity control or motion sensor.
  • Axial fans: for large air volumes at low back pressure, with 230 V or 400 V.
  • Smoke extract fans: for smoke extraction in the event of fire.

How to choose the right fan

The key figures are the required airflow and the pressure loss of your duct network: only when both match the fan curve will the fan deliver the planned air volume. Centrifugal fans build up more pressure and suit long duct runs, while axial fans move a lot of air over short distances. Also consider mounting position, sound power and motor: EC motors are infinitely variable and run efficiently at part load. Our guide fan types at a glance compares the designs.

Frequently asked questions about fans

Which fan is suitable for a bathroom without a window?

A small room fan with overrun timer or humidity control is usually sufficient, as it keeps running after a shower until the moisture has been removed.

When is a centrifugal fan the right choice?

With long ducts, filters or silencers in the air path, because back pressure is high there. The guide calculating airflow shows how to determine the required air volume.

Is an EC motor worth it?

For units with long running times it usually is, because the speed can be adjusted to demand and the fan does not run at full power all the time.
