Sanha lists drinking water, heating and cooling, gas installations, compressed air, solar systems and technical gases as applications. According to Sanha, the fittings are marked with manufacturer, size and DVGW test mark. The surface is untreated.
You select the size as a variant of each item. For the tee, for example, thread sizes range from 3/8 to 2 inches, for the water meter union from 1/2 to 1 1/4 inches. For reducing fittings, the size states the individual threads in inches, as designated in the Sanha data sheet. The annex to the DVGW certificate lists nominal sizes from 1/4 to 3 inches. The sizes available for each item are shown in the variant selection.
According to Sanha, the threads comply with EN 10226 or ISO 7/1 with the R/Rp pairing. R stands for the tapered male thread, Rp for the parallel female thread. Fastening threads, for example on the water meter union, are designed as G according to ISO 228. To compensate for surface roughness and manufacturing tolerances, the Sanha installation information specifies an additional sealant, for example hemp as sealant carrier combined with a sealant approved for drinking water and gas installations. Apply the sealant carrier sparingly so that the thread tips remain visible.
For PURAFIT, Sanha lists the DVGW type examination certificate DV-7401BU0333 for threaded fittings made of lead-free copper alloy containing silicon (test basis DVGW GW 6) and the DVGW hygiene conformity confirmation HW-1001DQ0146 for drinking water installations. The details including validity are given for each product, for example the PURAFIT tee. Press fittings for drinking water are available under NiroSan and SANHA-Press; all systems are listed under Sanha.

Sanha lists gas installations as an application. For sealing, the installation information recommends a sealant approved for drinking water and gas installations.
