Sanha PURAFIT tee is a tee with female thread on all three connections. The item belongs to the Sanha PURAFIT threaded fitting system (series 3000) and, according to Sanha, is made of lead-free, silicon-containing copper alloy (silicon bronze).

DVGW type examination certificate DV-7401BU0333 for threaded fittings made of lead-free, silicon-containing copper alloy, model PURAFIT S3000CuSi (test basis DVGW GW 6), valid until 25.06.2029. The annex lists the nominal sizes 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2 and 3 inches.
DVGW certificate of conformity hygiene HW-1001DQ0146 for PURAFIT threaded fittings (series 3000) made of CW724R for drinking water installations, valid until 14.03.2030.

Installation notes

According to the Sanha installation information, an additional sealant is used to compensate for surface roughness and manufacturing tolerances, for example hemp as sealant carrier in combination with a sealant approved for drinking water and gas installations. Apply the sealant carrier sparingly so that the thread tips are still visible.

Note on variants

Select the size. For equal connections the size states one female thread in inches, for reducing tees the threads Rp1 x Rp2 x Rp3 in inches (designations as in the data sheet). Inch sizes with two digits before the slash stand for whole and fractional inches, for example 1 1/4 for 1 1/4 inches and 1 1/2 for 1 1/2 inches.
