Nilan Comfort 350 (Top, L and R)

Nilan Comfort 350 is a ventilation unit with heat recovery via a counterflow heat exchanger for a ventilation requirement of up to 372 m³/h. Available are the Top design (duct connections on top, supply air left or right; according to the manufacturer suitable for installation in the flat due to the low sound power) and 350L and 350R with all four duct connections on one side (according to the manufacturer often installed in the attic), each as a standard unit or as a Polar version with integrated preheater.

Comfort 350L / 350R: Nilan Comfort 350L / 350R is a ventilation unit with heat recovery via a counterflow heat exchanger for flats and smaller commercial buildings with a ventilation requirement of up to 372 m³/h. According to the manufacturer, the unit is often installed in an unused attic. Available are the left-hand (350L) and the right-hand version (350R), each as a standard unit with CTS602 control and HMI panel or as a Polar version with an integrated preheater that protects the heat exchanger from icing in frost (CTS602 Light control with HMI panel). According to Nilan, the operating and installation instructions apply to all four versions.

Comfort 350 Top: Nilan Comfort 350 Top is a ventilation unit with heat recovery via a counterflow heat exchanger for flats and commercially used rooms with a ventilation requirement of up to 372 m³/h. Due to the low sound power, according to the manufacturer the unit can be installed in the flat, for example in the utility room or in a technical cabinet. Available are the standard version (CTS602 control with HMI panel) and the Polar version, which according to the Nilan installation instructions differs by an integrated preheater that protects the heat exchanger from icing in frost (CTS602 Light control with HMI panel). Both are available with supply air connection on the left or right. Nilan supplies the unit tested and ready for operation.

• Built-in pre-heater as frost protection for the counterflow heat exchanger (Polar version according to the installation instructions).
• 350L/R: All four duct connections are on the same side; Comfort 350L is the left-hand and Comfort 350R the right-hand version (supply air left or right according to the dimension sketch).
• 350L/R: The entire front can be removed; according to the manufacturer, the depth is then only 532 mm, which makes installation in the attic easier.
• 100% bypass damper in the unit.
• Panel filters in the outdoor air and extract air as standard; a pollen filter for the outdoor air is available as an accessory.
• According to the data sheet, with adaptive humidity management.
• When a filter change is due, a warning signal appears on the display.
• According to the installation instructions, the Polar version is supplied with an inlet ring at the pre-heater.
• Accessories according to the data sheet: electric pre-heater, electric post-heater, water post-heater, EM box, DTBU damper, Connection Box, connection box for user selection and EM box for fire automation, heating tape, additional circuit board, carbon dioxide sensor, vibration dampers, sound-absorbing flexible hose, pollen filter ISO 16890 ePM1 55% (F7), cooker hood filter box, gateway with app solution and extension cable for HMI panel.
• 350 Top: Compact design: according to the manufacturer, the unit can be integrated into a 60 cm wide cabinet; the white surface matches other household appliances.
• 350 Top: Two mounting brackets at the top of the rear side for wall mounting.

According to the installation instructions, sufficient space must be left for maintenance and repair work; filters, heat exchanger and fans must remain accessible. The unit must stand level so that the condensate can drain from the condensate tray. For installation in an attic, the installation instructions describe a base on which the unit stands level.
