Description

Nilan Gateway LAN connects a Nilan ventilation unit to the Nilan User App. According to the installation manual, the gateway is connected to the Modbus connection of the unit and via LAN cable to the internet router; the app accesses the unit via a cloud connection.

According to Nilan, the gateway is available for the CTS400 and CTS602 controls.

Features

According to the manual, units with older software require a software update by a technician; units without one of the controls listed cannot be connected.
The connection at the unit depends on the control (RJ45 socket, 6 or 8 pin socket, connection box or board); details are given in the installation and operating manual under downloads.
According to Nilan, several users can use the same app; changes in the app may reach the unit with a delay of a few seconds.

Installation notes

According to the manual: disconnect the power supply before opening the ventilation unit to connect to the board; for connection directly to the board Nilan recommends a Nilan technician.
