Description

Nilan SHW is an additional 250-litre hot water tank which, according to the manufacturer, can be connected to the Compact P GEO or Compact P AIR; together this gives a total hot water volume of 430 litres. Nilan names it for families with particularly high hot water consumption.

The GEO or AIR heat pump preheats the 250 litres in the SHW to 30 to 45 °C. The water then flows into the hot water tank of the Compact P, where the temperature can be raised to up to 60 °C.

Features

Solar coil for connecting a solar collector of about 4 m²; according to the manufacturer, this allows the temperature in the SHW to rise above 45 °C.
Built-in 1.5 kW electric heater that can be switched on when the heat pump cannot meet the hot water demand.
According to Nilan, the connection overview is in the installation instructions of the Compact P GEO and Compact P AIR. According to the Nilan installation instructions, a 3-way valve, available as an accessory, is required for connection to a Compact P2 AIR.
