Description

S&P RDR is an air volume regulator for installation inside a duct. According to S&P, it maintains a constant air volume flow within a pressure range of 50 to 200 Pa; the air volume flow is set during installation.

S&P states commercial premises (ventilation and air treatment up to 60 °C, extract or supply air) and dwellings with supply and extract ventilation systems as areas of application.

Notes on installation

According to S&P, the regulator is installed by inserting it into vertical or horizontal ducts; in a horizontal duct, the marking BAS faces downwards. Observe the airflow direction marked on the regulator. The minimum distance between the air terminal and the regulator is one duct diameter for extract air and three duct diameters for supply air. Before installation, the air volume flow is set on the adjustment module: loosen the screws, set the marker to the desired value, tighten the screws.

Note on variants

The selection states the S&P type: the first number is the duct diameter in mm, the second the preset nominal air volume flow in m³/h. The S&P catalogue does not state an adjustment range for the RDR-80/25.
