Description

S&P CMPB is a plastic centrifugal fan from the S&P CMPB / CMPT series for single-phase 1~ 230 V. According to the manufacturer, the units are suitable for extracting aggressive gases and vapours; scroll housing and impeller are made of polypropylene and the motor is separated from the airflow.

The three types move 350 to 1,220 m³/h free-blowing. According to S&P, the CMPB/4-20 can be speed-controlled by transformer and electronically.

Features
  • Scroll housing and forward curved impeller made of polypropylene, stainless steel screws.
  • Capacitor motor with thermal contact wired separately to the terminal board; all-pole motor protection according to S&P in combination with the MSD-2 motor protection switch.
  • For the CMPB/4-20, S&P specifies the REV-1.6 N 5-step transformer for speed control.
  • Performance data according to the manufacturer to ISO 5801 and AMCA 210-99; characteristic curves and sound power spectra are given in the S&P data sheet.
  • Accessories listed by S&P include MFP-N flexible connectors, CARP-N manual shut-off dampers and APP-N outlet spigots with bird guard, made of polypropylene.

Note on variants

The "Model" option names the type: "/2" or "/4" stands for the 2-pole or 4-pole motor, "14" and "20" for the size. In the S&P catalogue the full type names are CMPB/2-14-0.18 REG TP, CMPB/4-14-0.18 REG TP and CMPB/4-20-0.12 REG TP.
