Description

InoxAir Cube Fan Box combines cubic fan boxes (air boxes) of several InoxAir series in the shop: VRQ-EC, VRB-EC, VRBEC-EVO and VRB with the motor outside the conveyed air stream as well as VKB with the motor in the air stream. The article number of the variant shows which series you select; the features are listed below for each series.

Features
  • VRQ-EC (p. 117): steel housing galvanised, double-walled, 30 mm mineral wool, bottom tray with drain plug, motor outside the conveyed air stream according to VDI 2052, linear air flow, maintenance and cleaning panel with handle; EC motor, RAE-EC controller.
  • VRB-EC (p. 115): EC fan with backward-curved free-running impellers, variable outlet direction (right, left, linear), speed control via 0-10 V signal, housing made of double-walled panels of galvanised sheet steel with 30 mm mineral wool, removable maintenance opening, built-in condensate tray and 1 inch drain connector.
  • VRBEC-EVO (p. 113): EC motor, housing made of 1 mm Magnelis sheet with mineral wool insulation, frame made of anodised aluminium, removable inspection door with sash lock, replaceable motor unit, interior surfaces without protruding screws, integrated maintenance switch, flush floor drain; according to the catalogue suitable for greasy exhaust air.
  • VRB (pp. 96 and 97): motor separated from the air stream by two plates, double-walled housing made of galvanised sheet steel with 30 mm insulation, housing bottom formed as grease tray, motors in protection class IP 54, 400 V; according to the catalogue also suitable for outdoor installation with rain cover and motor cover (accessories).
  • VKB (pp. 136 and 137): air box with built-in double-inlet centrifugal fan, motor in the air stream, integrated thermal contact, capacitor wired internally, mounting flange and terminal box; VKB 1616, 2525 and 4040 single-walled with inspection flap, VKB 1600, 2500 and 4000 double-walled with 20 mm sound insulation, inspection flap and motor in protection class IP55.

Note on variants

Select the air flow under Size. The table lists the order number and page in the InoxAir catalogue Fans as well as the catalogue values for each variant. For VKB the catalogue gives the free-blowing air flow and the maximum pressure. According to inoxair.de, for VKB a suitable controller is not included in the scope of supply.
