Description

Blauberg Helix is a centrifugal fan with a scroll housing for connection to round ducts and rectangular ventilation ducts. According to the manufacturer, it is intended for supply and extract air systems in various premises and is suitable as a single component for extract or air conditioning systems. The intake flange has a round cross-section, the discharge flange a rectangular one.

The size in the model name states the diameter x width of the impeller in mm; 2E and 4E stand for a two-pole or four-pole single-phase motor.

For Helix 160x90 2E the data sheet only states dimensions and weight, no performance data.

Notes on installation

According to the data sheet, the fan can be installed as a single unit or as part of air handling chambers or air conditioning systems. The rectangular outlet duct is connected via the flange on the housing, the inlet duct via the FRZ-H connection flange. When a rectangular outlet duct is connected, the outlet opening must be covered with the SG-H protective grille. For noise and vibration damping, the SI-G rubber vibration dampers are fitted in the openings of the mounting plate. Flange, grille and vibration dampers are available separately; matching types according to the data sheet:
