Blauberg VENTO inHome Decentralized Ventilation System, DN160, Finishing Kit

Blauberg VENTO inHome completion kit DN160 is the unit part of the VENTO inHome decentralised ventilation unit with heat recovery for ducts with a diameter of 160 mm. The unit has an axial fan with a reversing EC motor and a ceramic enthalpy heat exchanger. In heat recovery mode, the unit works in alternating (push-pull) operation: according to the manufacturer, the room air flows outwards through the heat exchanger for 70 seconds and transfers heat and moisture to it; the unit then reverses direction and supplies outdoor air through the heat exchanger into the room for 70 seconds. In ventilation mode, the unit does not change direction and either supplies or extracts air, depending on the setting. The Wi-Fi version additionally offers a supply air mode in which the unit only supplies air. According to Blauberg, the unit is suitable for new buildings and for retrofitting.

The ventilation duct and the outer hood are not part of the completion kit and, according to Blauberg, must be ordered separately. For new buildings, Blauberg provides for installation in two stages: the duct and the outer hood are pre-installed during interior finishing, the inner unit with control unit, shutters and cartridge on completion. Blauberg intends the reversing units to be installed in pairs; they then work in opposite phases, which means one unit supplies outdoor air while the other extracts room air.

Features Standard: operation via the buttons on the unit and the remote control; several units can be coupled by cable (control line); an external sensor for boost mode can be connected via a relay contact. Features Wi-Fi: in addition, control by smartphone via the Blauberg Home app (Android and iOS), wireless coupling of several units via Wi-Fi, two inputs (relay and 0 to 10 V) for external sensors and an operating hours counter.
