Sanha lists drinking water, heating, rainwater, compressed air with a residual oil content of up to 25 mg/m³, technical gases, cooling water and shipbuilding as applications for NiroSan (series 9000). The black EPDM sealing ring is fitted at the factory. According to Sanha, the maximum continuous temperature is -30 to 120 °C, briefly up to 150 °C. The nominal pressure is PN 40 for 15 to 22 mm, PN 25 for 28 to 35 mm and PN 16 from 42 mm.
The NiroSan system pipe is available as NiroSan and NiroSan ECO made of 1.4404, as NiroSan F made of 1.4521 and as silicone-free NiroSan SF, in lengths of 3 m or 6 m. According to Sanha, the pipes comply with EN 10312 and DVGW GW 541 and have fire behaviour class A1 according to EN 13501-1. All fittings have a universal press connection. Up to 54 mm, Sanha specifies press jaws with the original SA, V or M contour. Joints that were accidentally not pressed are detected during the leak test (unpressed leaky).
For NiroSan, Sanha lists among others the DVGW type examination certificate DW-8501BT0271 for the NiroSan-Press drinking water installation system and DVGW hygiene conformity confirmations for drinking water installations. NiroSan Gas has the DVGW type examination certificate DG-4550BP0188. The details including validity are given for each product, for example the NiroSan tee.
