Features

Areas of application according to Sanha: drinking water, heating, rainwater, compressed air with residual oil content up to 25 mg/m³, technical gases, cooling water and shipbuilding.
Marking on the fitting according to Sanha: manufacturer, dimension and DVGW approval mark.
Leak path feature: connections accidentally left unpressed are detected during the leak test. Sanha states test pressures of 1 to 6.5 bar with water or 150 mbar to 3 bar with air for this.
For technical gases, the maximum operating pressure is 16 bar according to Sanha.
DVGW type examination certificate DW-8501BT0271 for the NiroSan-Press drinking water installation system of press connectors and pipes made of stainless steel (test bases including DVGW W 534 and GW 541), valid until 24.06.2031.
DVGW certificate of conformity hygiene HW-1001DQ0058 for NiroSan press fittings (series 9000) made of 1.4404 for drinking water installations, valid until 18.06.2030.

It covers stainless steel press fittings 1.4404 from 22 to 108 mm with EPDM sealing ring and, according to the approval, applies only to wet systems behind the alarm valve station, subject to the restrictions stated there.

Installation notes

According to the Sanha installation information, cut pipes at right angles, deburr them inside and outside and mark the insertion depth on the pipe with a waterproof marker before pressing.
For dimensions above 54 mm, the tool specifications of the Sanha installation information apply.
Insertion depth according to the Sanha installation information for 139.7 mm: 98 mm, for 168.3 mm: 120 mm.
