AFPRO HQ Pocket Filters HQ55, HQ65, HQ85, HQ98

AFPRO HQ pocket filters are fine filters with a glass fibre medium from the series HQ55, HQ65, HQ85 and HQ98. The four series share the same design and differ in the filter class according to ISO 16890: HQ55 ePM10 70%, HQ65 ePM2.5 50%, HQ85 ePM1 60% and HQ98 ePM1 85%. The manufacturer intends them for HVAC systems and for industry. We offer the series in 2,880 versions; select the filter class, width, height and depth in the configurator above.

• Dimensions of the standard sizes according to EN 15805 (manufacturer's information for AFPRO pocket filters, catalogue p. 31).
• The article number describes the design, for example HQ85A10-6: series HQ85, frame A = 592x592 mm, 10 pockets, pocket depth 6 = 635 mm. Further frame codes: B = 490x592 mm, C = 287x592 mm. Depth codes: 3 = 360, 5 = 535, 6 = 635, 7 = 670 mm; /90 = cross pockets (90°).
• According to the catalogue, with the same dimensions and number of pockets the initial pressure drop increases with the filter class, for example at 592x592x635 mm, 10 pockets (7.4 m²) and 3400 m³/h: HQ55 55 Pa, HQ65 60 Pa, HQ85 90 Pa, HQ98 150 Pa.
• According to the catalogue, more pockets with the same frame size and depth give a larger filter area and a lower initial pressure drop at nominal airflow, for example HQ85 at 592x592x635 mm and 3400 m³/h: 6 pockets 4.6 m² and 120 Pa, 8 pockets 6.0 m² and 100 Pa, 10 pockets 7.4 m² and 90 Pa, 12 pockets 8.8 m² and 85 Pa.
• HQ85 versions with AK in the article number (for example HQ85AKA8-6/P2) are combination filters with activated carbon from the HQ-AK series (catalogue p. 133, filter class ePM1 60%). In the configurator, select them via the filter class ePM1 60% with activated carbon (HQ85 AK).
• Install with the pockets vertical (upright), as specified by the manufacturer (catalogue p. 142).

In the configurator, first select the filter class, then width, height and depth in mm in any order. Only combinations that exist are offered. With the quick search you can find a version directly by its size (for example 592x592x635) or item number. The number of pockets is not a selectable option; it is part of the article number, directly after the frame code. For seven HQ85 sizes there are two items with the same dimensions but a different item number and price (for example HQ85A11-7 and HQ85A11-7/P1); select these in the Version step. For variants that do not match a type in the catalogue table, the catalogue gives no performance data. This applies, among others, to all custom sizes and the custom depths 150, 200 and 300 mm, for the HQ85 also to the pocket depth 670 mm. The addition /90 in the article number stands for cross pockets (90°, catalogue p. 32). There are no catalogue values for versions with further additions to the article number, for example /P1, /P2 or /20. Please check the installation dimensions of your filter frame before ordering.
