Description
Description
AFPRO Aktivkohle-Zylinder are cylinders filled with activated carbon of the Kohlezylinder series from AFPRO Filters. The manufacturer names airports, industry and catering as applications. According to the manufacturer, the cylinders are refillable.
For high gas concentrations the manufacturer intends cylinders with loose carbon granulate, as according to the catalogue their adsorption capacity is higher than that of a pleated filter element.

Installation notes
Installation notes
- According to the manufacturer, install a pre-filter upstream of the activated carbon filter so that dust particles do not clog it, and a post-filter downstream so that no activated carbon particles enter the air stream.
- Make sure there are no leaks; the frame and housing into which the filter is installed must be clean.
- Remove any activated carbon granulate spilled during installation before starting the system.
