Description

S&P MS-EX is a range of motor protection switches from S&P as switching and protective devices for three-phase and single-phase motors without thermal contact or PTC routed separately to the terminal board. According to S&P, they are also suitable for explosion-proof models with increased safety type of protection (II 2G Exe IIC T3).

The switches are installed in a control cabinet in the non-hazardous area. According to S&P, speed control is not permitted with these motors.

Features
  • In the accessory tables of the ATEX fans, S&P states the suitable switch for each model, for example MS-EX 0,63 for TD-800/200 ATEX and MS-EX 1,0 for TD-1100/250 ATEX.
  • Speed control of the connected motors not permitted

Note on variants

The number in the type designation indicates the upper value of the setting range in amperes; choose the switch to match the motor current of the fan (article numbers see table).
