Description

S&P KABB ECOWATT is a sound-insulated ventilation box with EC motor and free-running, backward-curved centrifugal impeller from the S&P KABB/KABT ECOWATT series. According to the manufacturer, it is intended for commercial kitchens and industrial process applications. The motor is located outside the air stream and is externally ventilated; according to S&P, the conveyed air may have a temperature between -20 and +100 °C. Available are the sizes 3000/315, 4000/355 and 6000/450.

The speed can be set from 0 to 100% via the integrated potentiometer or an external 0 to 10 V control signal; below 2 V the fan switches off. A 10 V output for an external potentiometer is provided.

Features

Side panels and cover can be removed for inspection; according to the manufacturer, the box is supplied complete with mounting brackets.
Inlet spigot for connection to standard ducts; on the outlet side, according to S&P, connection to spiral duct via the transition piece USD NV or to rectangular duct via the flexible connector EVD NV.
For outdoor installation, the manufacturer states that the weather protection roof WD N or WDS NV and the weather protection hood CVM KABB/T ECOWATT are mandatory; the discharge spigot ASV NV can be added depending on the system layout.
As accessories for speed control, S&P lists among others the set point adjusters SWG and REB-ECOWATT, the step switch INTER 4P ECOWATT, the controllers CONTROL ECOWATT, CONTROL ECOWATT BASIC, CONTROL EC/T and DMD-C (constant pressure) and the AIRSENS air quality sensors.
Further mounting accessories according to S&P: flexible connector KAA, vibration dampers KSE-45 (packing unit 4 pieces).
