Description

S&P ILT/4 EX is an explosion-proof duct fan for rectangular ducts from the S&P ILT ATEX series. According to the manufacturer, it is used to ventilate rooms in industry and commerce where an explosive atmosphere (gas) is likely to occur occasionally.

For the series, S&P states the marking II 2G Exe II T3 Gb (type of protection increased safety) and an EC type examination certificate according to the ATEX directive. The four sizes 225 to 315 move 1,720 to 4,000 m³/h free-blowing.

According to the data sheet, explosion protection applies to gas only (II 2G), not to dust.
Speed control only with the devices named by S&P: RMT 5-step transformer or FUW-N / FUD-N frequency inverter.
Motor protection via PTC thermistor; S&P specifies the MSK-EX motor protection switch and the PM-55/3 NV isolator switch.
