Description

S&P CONTROL ECOWATT AC/4A is an operating and control unit for demand-controlled ventilation systems in public and commercial areas and residential buildings. It controls S&P ECOWATT fans (EC) or frequency inverters and additionally single-phase 230 V AC motors up to 4 A current consumption via a phase angle control output.

Features

Inputs: 3 digital and 3 analogue; outputs: 2 x 0 to 10 V and 2 alarm relays.
Proportional mode (VAV): up to three air quality sensors (accessories, e.g. AIRSENS range or 0 to 10 V sensors) in any combination; the largest deviation from the set point is output as the speed signal.
PI control mode with analogue input signal 0 to 10 V or 4 to 20 mA, for example for constant pressure control (COP).
Minimum-maximum control mode via three digital inputs for external devices with volt-free contact, for example time switch, thermostat or manual switch.
Additional phase angle control output for single-phase AC motors (AC/4A model only).
For pure EC applications, S&P offers the CONTROL ECOWATT AC/DC model.
Note according to S&P: with frequency inverters without an additional enable signal, a base load of 20 Hz or 40% of the maximum speed is permanently maintained.
