According to Sanha, the system with red FKM sealing ring is intended for solar and high-temperature applications.

The approval lists model 12040; it applies to copper pipelines with outside diameters of 12 to 54 mm in installations for storing heating oil EL and diesel fuel with operating temperatures up to 40 °C and a maximum pressure inside the pipe of 5 bar.
