Description

Nilan Siphon is a siphon with a ball for the condensate drain of Nilan ventilation units. During heat recovery, condensate forms in the unit, which is collected in a condensate tray and runs out of the unit via a drain. A siphon prevents air from being drawn into the unit via the condensate drain.

In the warm season no condensate forms, and a siphon without a ball can dry out. According to the manufacturer, the Nilan siphon has a ball that prevents air from being drawn in and ensures condensate drainage at all times.
