Sanha Heavy Steel Press Bend 45°

Sanha Heavy Steel Press bend 45° is a 45° bend with press end. The item belongs to the SANHA Heavy Steel Press press fitting system (series 70000) for thick-walled steel pipes and, according to Sanha, is made of unalloyed steel, galvanised on the outside. According to Sanha, the fitting carries a symbol indicating that it is not permitted for drinking water.

• Areas of application according to Sanha: closed heating and cooling systems, compressed air (dry, residual oil content up to 25 mg/m³) and technical gases.
• Marking on the fitting according to Sanha: manufacturer, dimension, black "not for drinking water" symbol and a sticker "Please remove after pressing".
• Leak path feature: connections accidentally left unpressed are detected during the leak test. Sanha states test pressures of 1 to 6.5 bar with water or 150 mbar to 3 bar with air for this.

• According to the Sanha installation information, polish and clean the pipe up to the intended insertion depth with a suitable fleece, measure the insertion depth and mark it on the pipe; minimum distance to weld seams 3 x D, at least 100 mm.
• After pressing, remove the control sticker; this marks the press connector as pressed. Then check the correct insertion depth (according to Sanha).
• In the case of permanent moisture or corrosive additives in building materials or the atmosphere, a waterproof and pore-free corrosion protection according to AGI Q 151 (two-component systems) is required according to Sanha.
