Description

The AFPRO HEPA HPG series comprises particulate air filters with glass fibre paper as the filter medium in a galvanised steel frame. The catalogue lists the series under the turbulent flow filters (article number scheme p. 79). The manufacturer intends the filters for cleanrooms, asbestos removal and operating theatres. All HPG filters are available in several versions: filter classes E10, E11, H13 and H14 according to EN 1822 as well as ePM1 55%, ePM1 80% and ePM2.5 55% according to ISO 16890, in several versions (spacers and gasket).

Features

According to EN 1822, E10 and E11 belong to group E (EPA), H13 and H14 belong to group H (HEPA). Minimum efficiency (integral value at MPPS) according to catalogue p. 27: E10 at least 85%, E11 at least 95%, H13 at least 99.95%, H14 at least 99.995%.
The variants with the classes ePM1 55%, ePM1 80% and ePM2.5 55% are rated according to ISO 16890. The catalogue table of the HPG series does not list these classes.
According to the catalogue, the airflow is limited to 125% of the nominal value. At a higher airflow, filters may fall into a lower class.
Installation notes from the manufacturer (catalogue p. 142): Do not touch the filter medium. Every filter must be validated after installation to check that it is seated correctly.

Note on variants

Select the dimension, the filter class and the version. The dimension is given in mm (width x height x depth). The version corresponds to the first digits of the article number according to the scheme in catalogue p. 79: digit 2 spacers, digit 3 gasket, followed by filter class, grid (D on both sides), height, width and frame depth (L 150 mm, M 292 mm). All variants have a protective grid on both sides. The versions with the suffix HT are not listed in the catalogue table; please ask us about the operating limits of these versions before ordering.
