Sanha PURAPRESS Transition Coupling

Sanha PURAPRESS Transition Coupling is a transition coupling with universal press end and female thread. The item belongs to the PURAPRESS range (series 8000) of the Sanha SANHA-Press | PURAPRESS press fitting system and, according to Sanha, is made of lead-free, silicon-containing copper alloy. According to Sanha, PURAPRESS fittings are used as transition fittings for copper and stainless steel pipes.

Dimensions in mm according to the Sanha installation dimensions data sheet; the column designations correspond to the drawing in the data sheet (d pipe outside diameter, Rp thread in inches, SW width across flats, z Z dimension).

• Areas of application according to Sanha: drinking water, heating and cooling, compressed air with residual oil content up to 25 mg/m³, technical gases and shipbuilding.
• Marking on the fitting according to Sanha: manufacturer, dimension and DVGW approval mark; no additional coloured external marking.
• Leak path feature: connections accidentally left unpressed are detected during the leak test. Sanha states test pressures of 1 to 6.5 bar with water or 150 mbar to 3 bar with air for this.
• For technical gases, the maximum operating pressure is 16 bar according to Sanha.
• According to Sanha, PURAPRESS fittings are resistant to dezincification and free from stress corrosion cracking.

• DVGW certificate of conformity hygiene HW-1011DQ0354 for the assembled product PURAPRESS press fittings (series 8000) for drinking water installations, valid until 14.03.2030.

• According to the Sanha installation information, cut pipes at right angles, deburr them inside and outside and mark the insertion depth on the pipe with a waterproof marker before pressing.
• For dimensions above 54 mm, the tool specifications of the Sanha installation information apply.

Select the size. The size states the pipe outside diameter d in mm and the female thread Rp in inches, for example 15x1/2. Inch sizes with two digits before the slash stand for whole and fractional inches, for example 1 1/4 for 1 1/4 inches and 1 1/2 for 1 1/2 inches.
